About this site

This site is based in large part on the Design of Captain David C. Shaw Webmaster.

About the “look and feel”

As the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force, the site was designed to be visually “connected” to the Air Force’s web site, but have a distinctly Greene County Compasite Squadron 606 identity and character. The color palette was taken from the United States Air Force. The typeface of the site is set to give the site a clean appearance.

The site is authored with Concrete5 CMS Open Source Code

Server-side technology and architecture

Site is Hosted on servers by TMDHosting. All site content and user information is stored in a SQL database.

Content Management

A content management system was developed to allow members with specific permission levels to create, edit, and delete all of the pages, news releases, radio program episodes, external links, and calendar events. In short, all information presented on this site is provided directly to you by the knowledgeable staff officers themselves.
